Business Development Partners

The City has a several partners in business recruitment and retention.

  • Palm Beach County Business Development Board - Founded in 1982 by area Chambers of Commerce, the Economic Council and other business leaders, the Business Development Board (BDB) is a private, not-for-profit corporation designated by the state as Palm Beach County's official economic development organization. Although the BDB is autonomous, it works closely with the Chambers of Commerce, other county organizations and the Palm Beach County Commission to achieve economic development goals in the areas of business recruitment and expansion, job creation, workforce development, infrastructure, and availability of capital.

  • Palm Beach County Economic Development Office - The EDO provides coordination on economic issues, programs and projects affecting the entire County. The primary responsibility of the Palm Beach County Economic Development Office is to implement, manage and monitor the Economic Development Program of the Board of County Commissioners.

  • Enterprise Florida, Inc. - Enterprise Florida Inc. (EFI) is a public-private partnership serving as Florida’s primary organization devoted to statewide economic development. EFI's mission is to  diversify Florida's economy and create better-paying jobs for its citizens by supporting, attracting and helping to create businesses in innovative, high-growth industries.

  • Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce - The mission of the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce is to provide leadership, networking, innovative business programs and community opportunities, enabling its membership to thrive in a dynamic pro-business environment, while fostering an unmatched quality of life.

  • Florida Institute for Commercialization of Public Research - The Florida Institute for Commercialization of Public Reasearch serves as a launching pad for commercializing academic research across all industry sectors, particulary Florida’s burgeoning life sciences research capabilities.
